A New European Travel Authorization
Europe is introducing the European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS) for travelers from visa-exempt countries, including many U.S. travelers visiting participating European countries for short stays.
ETIAS is not a traditional visa. It is a pre-travel authorization that eligible travelers will complete before traveling to participating European destinations.
